Information on Admission 

to K1 Classes in the 2024/25 School Year

(1) Admission Class Levels

K1 – AM Session

K2 – AM Session

K3 – AM Session

K1, K2, K3 – Full-day Session

 

(2) Tuition Fee in 2023 – 2024 School Year (Approved by the Education Bureau)

AM Session Waived
Full-day Session 09 / 2023 – 07 / 2024 HK$1,400.00 per month
Meal Fee for Full-day Session 09 / 2023 – 07 / 2024 HK$580.00 per month

 

(3) K1 Admission Arrangement in 2024-2025 School Year

The application form and brochure for K1 admission in the 2024-2025 school year will be distributed from September 2023. Parents can come to the school in person during office hours or download from the school website for the application form and related information. Please complete the form and submit it to the school together with the required documents during office hours.

(4) For Application

(1) Students must be born on or before December 31, 2021

(2) Students must have the right of abode in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region

(3) Please submit the following together with the application form:

   a) Completed application form
   b) A copy of Birth Certificate or other proof of residence in Hong Kong (please show the original for checking)
   c) A copy of Vaccination Record Card (please show the original for checking)
   d) 1 Recent photo
   e) 4 stamped addressed envelopes 
   f) Application fee $20

 

(5) Distribution of Application Form (No quota for application form distribution)

  1. Date: September 18, 2023 (Monday) to November 3, 2023 (Friday)
  2. Time: Monday to Friday (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) ／
                 Saturday (9:00am to 12:00nn)

 

(6) Submission of Application Form (No quota for application form submission)

  1.  Date: September 18, 2023 (Monday) to November 3, 2023 (Friday)
  2.  Time: Monday to Friday (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) ／
                 Saturday (9:00 a.m. to 12:00nn)
  3.  Submission methods: in person / by post to the school

  4.  Application fee (if applicable): HK dollars $20 (should be paid with the application form submission), no matter whether the application is successful or not, the application fee is non-refundable

 

(7) Application for the “Registration Certificate for Kindergarten Admission 2024/25”

  1. The Education Bureau (EDB) has implemented a free quality kindergarten education policy in the 2017/18 school year to replace the existing “Pre-primary Education Voucher Scheme”. Under the new scheme, the EDB will use the “Registration Certificate for Kindergarten Admission” as the K1 registration document for the 2024/25 school year.
  2. Parents must apply “2024/25 Registration Certificate for Kindergarten Admission” from the EDB (after this referred to as the “2024/25 RC”) from September to November 2023, the “2024/25 RC” application will be opened in September this year. The EDB will announce the application details and upload the details on the EDB website.

(8) Selection Criteria

1. Interview performance
2. Siblings of current students will be priority considerate
3. Apply for Full-day sessions or from families in need will be prioritized.
(Please note not all the applicants who meet the priority consideration will be admitted due to the limited seats.)

 

(9) Interview Arrangement

1. The school will arrange to meet all applicants
2. The interview date will be held on November 4, 2023, and the notification letter will be sent to parents separately.
3. Interview in small groups or individual meeting
4. Applicants should be accompanied by their parents
5. When interviewing non-Chinese speaking children, the school will arrange interpretation and/or translation services for applicants as needed, or accept parents and children to be accompanied by relatives and friends who understand Chinese to assist in communication.

(10) Admission Results

Notification of K1 admission results will be sent to parents by post before November 18, 2023.

 

(11) Registration Arrangement

1. Successful applicants: Parents please come to the school within the designated time slot for the registration, “2024/25 RC” submission, and registration fee payment on January 4 – 6, 2024 (Centralised Registration Dates).
2. Applicants on the waiting list: The school will send a letter to notify parents to register at the school on the designated date, please submit the original “2024/25 RC” with the registration fee on the same day.
3. Parents please note that if the valid registration documents are not submitted on the specified registration date, the school may not be able to complete the procedures for the admission of children. Therefore, parents must apply for the relevant registration certificate from the Education Bureau within the designated date.
4. The 2024/25 school year registration fee is HK$970 for AM Session and HK$1,570 for Full-day Session. If the child is enrolled in our school, the school will arrange for a registration fee refund within September. However, if parents decide to apply for withdrawal for children after registration, please inform the school in writing, the school will return the original RC to parents but the registration fee will not be refunded. After the RC is retrieved, the school will no longer reserve a place for the child.
